TICKETS & ADMISSION

Purchase self-guided tour tickets in our Visitor Centre when you arrive.

  • Seniors (65+) – $19.60
  • Post-secondary students (18 + with Valid ID) – $18.50
  • Youth (13-17) – $14.80
  • Children (6-12) – $10.00
    * Children under 6 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Debit and Traveller’s cheques.

Proceeds from admission fund the ongoing restoration of the Castle. Admission includes the use of our private parking lot.

Note – Please remember that Craigdarroch Castle is a historic house museum and, as such, there are no ramps or elevators and it is not wheelchair accessible. Visitors are encouraged to leave personal possession (coats, backpacks and strollers) in their vehicle as we have no place to store them.


COVID-19 MEASURES

Warning icon For everyone's safety: When you arrive, you may be asked to wait a few minutes to begin your tour so staff can maintain distance between visitors at the start of the tour. Please email us if you have questions or need to make special arrangements for your tour.

To protect the health and safety of our staff and visitors, there are several safety protocols in place; Worksafe and Ministry of Health guidelines inform all of our practices.

  • We appreciate you wearing a mask.
  • Physical distancing is encouraged where possible.
  • Several hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the Visitor Centre.

GETTING HERE

The Castle is located just off Fort Street on Joan Crescent, close to downtown Victoria. Getting here is a pleasant 20-minute walk along Fort Street – an experience unto itself with boutiques, bistros and antique shops lining the street. Ample parking is located on site. Fort Street is also a bus route and has dedicated bike lanes.

VISITOR CENTRE

The centre combines a beautifully renovated 1913 home with new construction containing an accessible ticketing area at ground level, gift shop and a museum quality climate-controlled basement room to store artifacts and engage in other preservation work.

THE GIFT SHOP

Located in the Visitor Centre, there’s always new, local items to browse. From delicious artisan treats to unique crafts and Castle memorabilia, no visit to Craigdarroch is complete with a stop at the gift shop. The Shop is open on the days we offer tours.

Our Online Shop offers many of our bestselling products and we are happy to process orders placed through our website. Curb side pick up is avaialble for online and email orders. Please contact us with your request.
