Be part of our history
It’s an understatement to say that we require an immense amount of help to keep our Castle looking and functioning the way it does. We can always use financial gifts, but we welcome volunteers too.
Your support and participation are greatly appreciated as Craigdarroch Castle maintains itself as a vital and relevant part of the Victoria community.
A very special THANK YOU to all the generous local merchants who were gift sponsors for our volunteer program and to the City of Victoria who support our efforts through a permissive property tax grant which allows us to commit our earned revenue to the important work at Craigdarroch.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada who, through the Department of Canadian Heritage Museums Assistance Program provided a grant to improve our collections storage and management practices and through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund are helping fund our Visitor Centre Development project.
MEET THE DUNSMUIRS
Robert and Joan Dunsmuir had two sons, eight daughters and plenty of exploits. The Castle weaves a fascinating tale of this intriguing family – their achievements, their relationships and even their quirks.Learn More
