With 39 rooms and over 20,000 square feet of interior space, Craigdarroch Castle is the perfect vacation (or staycation!) experience for everyone. You’ll find us just off Fort Street at 1050 Joan Crescent – a short drive or leisurely walk from Victoria’s inner harbour.

Tickets & Admission

Tickets are available in our Visitors Centre. Proceeds from admission fund the ongoing restoration of the Castle. Admission includes the use of our private parking lot.

We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Interact and Traveller’s cheques.

Note – Please remember that Craigdarroch Castle is a historic house museum and, as such, there are no ramps or elevators and it is not wheelchair accessible.

VISITORS CENTRE

The centre combines a beautifully renovated 1913 home with new construction containing an accessible ticketing area at ground level, gift shop and a museum quality climate-controlled basement room to store artifacts and engage in other preservation work.

THE GIFT SHOP

Located in the Visitor Centre, there’s always new, local items to browse. From delicious artisan treats to unique crafts and Castle memorabilia, no visit to Craigdarroch is complete with a stop at the gift shop.

THE JINGLEPOT TEAHOUSE

Get ready for your journey back through time with a visit to the Jinglepot Teahouse. Offering snacks, light lunches and hot and cold beverages from local favourites, our seasonal cafe is outdoor seating only, so you can enjoy delicious refreshments and a beautiful view.

Located just outside the Visitors Centre, the Jinglepot Teahouse is open daily from 10:00am - 4:00pm from June to September, weather permitting.


GROUP TOURS

With advance notice and minimum group size of 15 (10 for student groups), we provide a reduced admission rate. Group tours also receive an enhanced self-guided tour that allows everyone to take full advantage of all the Castle has to offer at their own pace. On average, a tour of Craigdarroch Castle takes 45 minutes to an hour and flash photography is allowed.

  • Group Adult/Senior 15 or more adults or seniors – $11.20
  • Group Student Age 13-18 or mature student with ID – $5.50
    (10 or more students must be accompanied by escorts)
  • Group Child Ages 6-12 – $4.00
    (10 or more Children must be accompanied by escorts)

  • Child 5 and under Free if part of another group*

*Pre-school groups pay $3.75 / child or $5.00 for Christmas tours.
