To protect the health and safety of our staff and visitors, there are several safety protocols in place; Worksafe and Ministry of Health guidelines inform all of our practices.
- Masks are required. We ask that visitors bring their own mask to wear while inside Castle facilities.
- Physical distancing will be encouraged where possible.
- Several hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the Castle.
- Occupancy limits are in place for washrooms, the gift shop and admissions.
- The Castle and Visitor Centre will be closed on Thursdays to allow us to properly sanitize and maintain the wooden handrails in the Castle.
The centre combines a beautifully renovated 1913 home with new construction containing an accessible ticketing area at ground level, gift shop and a museum quality climate-controlled basement room to store artifacts and engage in other preservation work.
