Bring Victorian romance to your special day
As a designated National Historic Site, Craigdarroch Castle is an exceptional place to celebrate your union.
Lavish Victorian era furnishings and decor, exquisite stained glass, and detailed woodwork carved by artisans of days gone by… these all combine to create a warm and welcoming experience.
Craigdarroch Castle was built for entertaining. Hire a small ensemble of musicians to suit your tastes – the Steinway pianos in both the Drawing Room and the Dance Hall are available for use by professional pianists.
With the open staircase, the acoustics are wonderful and music can be heard all through the Castle. If you need some suggestions, we have an extensive list of entertainers from which to choose.
*Please note that we do not allow dancing because of potential damage to the Castle that is, in and of itself, an artifact.
BAR SERVICE
Bar service is limited to white wine (no red or rosé), champagne, beer, non-berry cider and nonstaining soft drinks. A Special Occasion Liquor License is required if liquor is to be served and we can provide information to assist you with that process. We work exclusively with experienced companies that have successfully worked within our very specialized museum environment.
The Castle does not rent rooms for overnight stays but if you are seeking a memorable place to spend your wedding night, look no further than right next door!
The Craigmyle is a beautiful, historic building dating to 1912 which features a breathtaking view of the Castle, luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, delicious continental breakfasts, guest laundry facilities and kitchen, and cozy common rooms.
Imagine walking from your room to your very own Castle wedding up a picturesque walkway in a romantic Victorian neighbourhood. Simple elegance.
Craigdarroch Castle is proud to partner with The Craigmyle in offering package deals to couples and their guests.
